StayClean prepares its first Series A funding round

StayClean is preparing its first Series A funding round, targeting €1 million.

The purpose of this round is not to finance the beginning of an idea, but to support the transition into a new phase of growth: consolidating the company’s European market, accelerating international expansion and extending the technology platform to additional operational needs across short-term rentals and hospitality.

The thesis behind this next step is straightforward: managing a stay does not end with the reservation — and operational complexity does not end with cleaning.

Why now?

StayClean was built around a simple objective: automate one of the most time-consuming and fragmented operations in short-term rentals — organizing cleaning between two stays.

As the platform has developed and conversations with existing and prospective customers have multiplied, one point has become increasingly clear: the same operational problem extends well beyond cleaning alone.

Linen, consumables, welcome and maintenance kits, missing equipment, replacement items and the wider preparation of a property are among the needs that repeatedly come up in customer conversations.

The planned Series A is intended to give StayClean the resources to address this next phase faster.

Consolidating Europe as the foundation

Europe is StayClean’s first core market and remains the foundation of the company’s development.

Part of the investment will therefore be dedicated to strengthening that presence: expanding geographical coverage, developing the local service-provider network, increasing operational reliability and improving automation for operators managing portfolios of very different sizes.

The objective is not simply to grow geographically. We want to deepen the operational capabilities of the platform and make StayClean an infrastructure that can work reliably for both small portfolios and much larger operating environments.

Accelerating expansion into North America

The second major priority is North America.

The market brings together a large number of professional operators, structured property-management companies and a significant inventory of short-term rental accommodation. It also presents the same operational challenges StayClean is designed to solve: time-sensitive turnovers, distributed teams, demanding quality standards and the need to remove as many manual steps as possible.

The Series A is intended to help StayClean prepare this expansion faster, build local partnerships and adapt the platform to the operational specificities of the North American market.

From cleaning to the operational logistics of the stay

StayClean will remain deeply rooted in cleaning. But our customers consistently show us that preparing a property involves several connected workflows.

That is why we intend to develop additional services around three recurring areas:

  • cleaning, which remains the core entry point of the platform;
  • linen, including availability, rotation, tracking and operational coordination;
  • kits, consumables and equipment, so essential items can be identified, prepared, replenished or replaced at the right time.

The vision is not to become a traditional property-management company. StayClean aims to build the technology layer that organizes, connects and increasingly automates these recurring operational tasks.

Artificial intelligence as an operational layer

At StayClean, artificial intelligence is not intended only to generate content or answer simple questions.

Our objective is to increasingly use AI as an operational decision and control layer: interpreting reservation information, triggering the right actions, identifying exceptions, analysing service reports, prioritising anomalies and helping teams decide what requires attention.

The more operational components the platform connects, the more important this capability becomes.

The planned funding will therefore also support the continued development of automation and AI-powered orchestration across the platform.

A round designed to accelerate execution

The planned financing is built around several connected priorities:

  • consolidate growth and coverage across Europe;
  • accelerate market entry and development in North America;
  • continue expanding the network of cleaning and service providers;
  • deepen automation across the existing platform;
  • develop new services around linen, kits, consumables and equipment;
  • strengthen AI as a central orchestration layer for operations.

All of these priorities serve the same objective: turn operational work that is still spread across messages, spreadsheets, phone calls and multiple providers into a structured and increasingly automated workflow.

Not more management, but less management

Hospitality operators have adopted a growing number of digital tools over the past few years. Yet teams still spend significant time moving information between systems and people.

StayClean is built around the opposite idea: technology should not create another layer that needs to be managed. It should reduce the number of manual decisions and handoffs required to keep properties running.

Cleaning was our starting point because it is one of the most critical operations between two stays. Linen, kits and equipment are a natural extension of that same operational chain.

Finding the right partners for the next phase

Through this Series A, StayClean is not only looking for capital, but for partners who share a long-term view of technology, hospitality and international expansion.

The €1 million target is designed to finance a focused next stage and allow the company to move faster on markets and product areas already closely connected to customer needs.

The preparation of this first Series A therefore marks a new milestone in StayClean’s development.

Our ambition remains the same: automate the operational logistics behind short-term rentals until they become increasingly invisible for operators.
