Since September 2026, StayClean has offered a new operational feature: storage spaces.
The idea comes from a very practical problem. Cleaning professionals regularly need supplies, linen, consumables or kits, yet the rental itself is not always the right place to keep everything permanently.
StayClean storage spaces allow a secure external location to become part of a property’s operational configuration.
Turning a physical location into part of the workflow
A storage space is physically simple: a box, secure room or external storage location.
Operationally, it becomes much more useful once the platform knows where it is, how it can be accessed and which properties rely on it.
StayClean can therefore structure the address, access method, code and additional instructions and connect the location to relevant properties.
Bring your own storage or find an external space
Not every operator starts from the same situation.
Some already have a secure room or local storage facility. Others need an external solution.
StayClean is designed to support both approaches: registering an existing storage point or, depending on local availability, selecting a partner storage space through the platform.
Search can be organized around a property or a city and can take practical criteria such as location and size into account.
One storage location can support several properties
The model becomes particularly useful when an operator manages several units in the same area.
Instead of keeping large amounts of operational material inside every property, a local storage point can support multiple units.
It can hold cleaning supplies, spare equipment, consumables, kits or textiles and act as a small local operations hub.
A key building block for linen
Storage was not designed in isolation.
StayClean can already use secure storage as part of linen logistics, including as a pickup point for clean linen or a return point for used textiles.
That makes storage an important bridge between future laundry services, cleaning professionals and the properties themselves.
Access information matters as much as location
A storage space only works operationally if the person on the ground can access it without additional calls or messages.
That is why access method, codes and specific instructions can be structured directly in the system.
The principle is the same as elsewhere in StayClean: the right person should receive the right information at the right time.
From storage box to operational hub
Today, the feature primarily creates a reliable source of truth for secure storage locations.
Over time, it opens the door to much more: linen rotation, consumable replenishment, prepared kits, cleaning equipment and other local supply flows.
A storage space can therefore become a physical node connected to several automated workflows.
With storage spaces, StayClean is beginning to connect external physical infrastructure directly to the digital orchestration of a property.
